I’m a high school student in Poland :) my interests include things like system and network administration, 3D printing, electronics, robotics, astrophotography, and, last but not least, radio

If you made a QSO with me, please check the QSO page

What are you doing here?

Uhh… something, I guess? This website will be a dump of anything I’m currently doing if I think it’s worth sharing, so be prepared for some really diverse (and often boring) content

What’s your […] equipment?

sysadmin

N5100 minipc with Proxmox installed on it

networking

Mikrotik routers, TP-Link switches, and TP-Link access points flashed with OpenWrt

radio

VHF/UHF

  • Anytone 878 (the one with full APRS support)
  • Quansheng UV-K5 (with F4HWN firmware)

HF

Xiegu G90 with an EFHW antenna

astrophotography

an unmodded Canon EOS 1100D and an OpenAstroMount that I assembled but haven’t got the time to use :(

3D printing

  • Ender 3, with a SKR 1.3 board and TMC2209 drivers, currently running on Klipper
  • Anycubic Photon Mono 4K

What is your stance on…

… closed-source radio protocols

I refuse to work in any mode that is closed-source/proprietary. This includes Fusion/C4FM, D-Star, VARA and similar. I think these modes go against the principle of ham radio by restricting the ability to even learn about how they work, let alone modify them, and especially by forcing people to buy into walled-gardens of Yaesu/ICOM+Kenwood

73 de SP2FE :) have a nice day!
